Everything GPeekGPeek is a widget for Mac OS X dashboard that lets you check your incoming Gmail messages. Right now it only works with Gmail, so if you don't have an account, harass a friend for one of the free invites Google keeps giving out. 3 FlavoursSo why would I use GPeek? Well, it beats keeping a browser window/tab open all the time and it comes in 3 juicy flavours so you can see as much, or as little, account information as you need. Check out the images and section below to see how it works, or if you're already convinced, head over to downloads and get yourself a toasty fresh copy.
The Details
1
MINI = Oh so small. All you will see is a count of the new messages in your inbox. Great for when you don't have that much dashboard real estate to spare.
2
LONG = The midsize option. You get the message count as well as which user account the widget is checking. This is useful since you can have multiple instances of the widget running, each checking a different account.
3
FULL = The SUV of the widget world. All of the above and also a summary for each new e-mail in your inbox. This is what set's GPeek apart from the rest!
The best thing about it is that you don't need to choose one or the other. They're all in there and you can switch from one mode to the other seamlessly via some super smooth DTHML slidding action which can be activated using the intuitive controls or automatically when new mail arrives! For a full list of what the widget does, you can check out our features page. |
